Charming house in the heart of the bulb region: Lisse, Netherlands
Our house is a perfect base for visiting historic cities such as Amsterdam (40 min), Haarlem (30 min) and Leiden (20 min). In addition, you are only 7 minutes away from the beach! Cycling enthusiasts can indulge themselves with the many beautiful cycling routes in the area. An ideal place to enjoy nature, culture and relaxation.
We live in a colorful house 3 km from the center of Lisse. Downstairs we have a living room with a nice kitchen. In our backyard you can relax wonderfully. We ourselves prefer the relaxed sitting area in the shade of our garden. But we also have enough chairs and cushions to put in the sun. Upstairs is our double bedroom and bathroom. In addition, there is another room where we can set up a single bed.
We do not have children ourselves, so our house is not suitable for young children. We do have a playful cat. She loves hunting and likes to play with people. As for her care, she only asks for food and drink: she poops outside.
During the year, we are interested in shorter exchanges, for example an extended weekend in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg or Germany. Make sure to plan your visit either in the bulb season from March 20 to May 10, or the dahlia season in August and September.
Home exchange is the first time for our house, but we have already had many home exchange experiences through Diederik's parents.

We would like to do a home exchange for 2 or 3 weeks in this period. We love hiking: so if you live in or close to a nature reserve be sure to contact us! We can offer you a house in the countryside close to a relatively quiet beach. And a good starting point to visit cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Den Haag, Leiden, Delft. |

On holiday we enjoy good food, being in nature and watching movies.
We are Diederik and Eveline, we like to cycle and walk. On holiday we like to combine peace and a natural environment with an occasional cultural excursion. Diederik is owner of an educational institution for woodworking. Eveline is an artist and pension administration employee.
